It’s been a strange, wild, whacky year for me. Not only have I had two novels published, I’ve actually had readers like and respond to them – and pay money for them! Believe me, it’s a pretty humbling and surreal feeling to have.

This short story is set during the Christmas where Declan is recuperating from his knee operation, and Simon and Fran are in Italy. Simon finds himself having to be Florence Nightingale and Kylie Kwong all rolled into one.

I love the wit, funny and tearfull lines in that story. If I have any complaint it would be -I wish it was longer and more detail for example that short story on Christmas! It should have been on the book, and I wish to read what happens when Declan and his team won games… I wish to read how Declan end up transfer to Victorian club… I wish to read their happy time right after the end of the story…. God you should write the second book of this story and I’m definitely going to buy it!
